Have you ever imagined yourself in a Disney princess role? What would you do if you were Rapunzel locked in a tower? Or would you go fight a war to save your family? Choosing your path as a princess is more problematic than many people would believe. But choosing your princess is as easy as completing this one quiz! Are you ready to learn what Disney princess lives inside of you? Which of them dictates some of your dreams, oddities, and whims? If you think there is no princess inside of you, I'd disagree. There is one in everybody, even the toughest people. We all have our gentle sides, and what can be more loving and gentle than the women of this Disney princess quiz? Thus, you have to learn which of them is the closest to you and learn something from their stories.

How Many Are There

There are tons of leading and secondary female characters in Disney movies, but not all of them can get the official princess title. Some actual princesses from the film are not authorized! Now, who exactly is on that list?
  • Mulan
  • Cinderella
  • Snow White
  • Ariel
  • Rapunzel
  • Tiana
  • Pocahontas
  • Aurora
  • Bell
  • Jasmine
  • Moana
  • Merida
This list causes many questions from the community. Starting with why Merida is more official than Anna or Elsa and continuing to the absence of the other major love interests. But what exactly makes a Disney princess official? It's not a royal status, as there are quite a few names with no royal connections. As far as my research has shown, there is no official list of criteria for that. However, there are a few criteria online that the community seems to agree with. Unfortunately, I don't know its origins and can give you no credentials, but the Carlin Brothers discussed this issue in the past, and the kudos go to them!
  1. She must be a human in the original animated Disney movie (not introduced though sequel).
  2. She must be of royal blood and/or marry into the royal family and/or show exceptional heroism and great deeds.
  3. The animated movie must be a commercial success.
Disney princess quiz
Wait, stop, but where are Anna and Elsa then? They suit all these criteria! However, they have their own franchise! And as we see in Ralph, they are still present in the "princess room." For this Disney princess test, I've chosen only the official girls. Unfortunately, you will not see here the Frozen heroines. The rest of the girls are just as cool, though! I know that I would like to hear my Disney counterpart for sure! A final question before we begin: who is your favorite princess? As you may not be similar to her, I'd like to make a small poll in the comment section to find out who is the most popular among our visitors. I will be waiting for your reply after the quiz! Meanwhile, find your perfect Disney Prince
